Sunan an-Nasa'i · Hadith 4662

أخبرنا قتيبة بن سعيد، قال حدثنا داود، عن عمرو، عن أبي المنهال، عن إياس، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم نهى عن بيع فضل الماء ‏.‏ وباع قيم الوهط فضل ماء الوهط فكرهه عبد الله بن عمرو ‏.‏

It was narrated from Iyas that: the Messenger of Allah forbade selling surplus water. The keeper of al-Wahat sold the surplus water of al-Wahat, and 'Abdullah bin 'Arm disapproved of that.
