Sunan an-Nasa'i · Hadith 5005

أخبرنا أحمد بن سليمان، قال حدثنا أبو داود، عن سفيان، قال وحدثنا أبو نعيم، قال حدثنا سفيان، عن سهيل، عن عبد الله بن دينار، عن أبي صالح، عن أبي هريرة، قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ الإيمان بضع وسبعون شعبة أفضلها لا إله إلا الله وأوضعها إماطة الأذى عن الطريق والحياء شعبة من الإيمان ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Faith has seventy-odd branches, the most virtuous of which is La ilaha illallah (there is none worthy of worship except Allah) and the least of which is removing something harmful from the road. And modesty (Al-Haya') is a branch of faith.'"
