Sunan an-Nasa'i · Hadith 5121

أخبرنا محمد بن عبد الأعلى، قال حدثنا خالد، عن شعبة، عن عطاء بن السائب، قال سمعت أبا حفص بن عمرو، وقال، على إثره يحدث عن يعلى بن مرة، أنه مر على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو متخلق فقال له ‏"‏ هل لك امرأة ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قلت لا ‏.‏ قال ‏"‏ فاغسله ثم اغسله ثم لا تعد ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It was narrated from Ya'la bin Murrah that: He passed by the Prophet [SAW] wearing Khaluq. He said to him: "Do you have a wife?" I said: "No." He said: "Wash it off, then wash it off, then do not put it on again."
