Sunan an-Nasa'i · Hadith 5126

أخبرنا إسماعيل بن مسعود، قال حدثنا خالد، قال حدثنا ثابت، - وهو ابن عمارة - عن غنيم بن قيس، عن الأشعري، قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ أيما امرأة استعطرت فمرت على قوم ليجدوا من ريحها فهي زانية ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It was narrated that Al-Ash'ari said: "The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Any woman who puts on perfume then passes by people so that they can smell her fragrance then she is an adulteress.'"
