Sunan an-Nasa'i · Hadith 5360

أخبرنا عمرو بن علي، قال حدثنا عفان، قال حدثنا همام، عن قتادة، عن عكرمة، عن أبي هريرة، قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ من صور صورة كلف يوم القيامة أن ينفخ فيها الروح وليس بنافخ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Whoever makes an image will be commanded on the Day of Resurrection to breathe the soul into it but he will not be able to do so.'"
