Sunan an-Nasa'i · Hadith 5459

أخبرنا عمرو بن علي، قال حدثنا معاذ بن هشام، قال حدثني أبي، عن قتادة، عن أنس، أن نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال ‏"‏ اللهم إني أعوذ بك من العجز والكسل والبخل والجبن والهرم وعذاب القبر وفتنة المحيا والممات ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It was narrated from Anas that: The Prophet of Allah [SAW] said: "Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min al-'ajzi, wal-kasali, wal-bukhli, wal-jubni, wal-harami, wa 'adhabil-qabri, wa fitnatil-mahya wal-mamat (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from incapacity, laziness, miserliness, cowardice, old age, the torment of the grave and the trials of life and death.)"
