Sunan an-Nasa'i · Hadith 90

أخبرنا محمد بن زنبور المكي، قال حدثنا ابن أبي حازم، عن يزيد بن عبد الله، أن محمد بن إبراهيم، حدثه عن عيسى بن طلحة، عن أبي هريرة، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال ‏"‏ إذا استيقظ أحدكم من منامه فتوضأ فليستنثر ثلاث مرات فإن الشيطان يبيت على خيشومه ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "When any one of you wakes from sleep to perform Wudu', then let him sniff water in his nose and blow it out three times, for the Shaitan spends the night on his nose."
