Sunan Ibn Majah · Hadith 1568

حدثنا عبد الله بن سعيد، حدثنا حفص بن غياث، عن حجاج، عن أبي الزبير، عن جابر، قال ما أباح لنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ولا أبو بكر ولا عمر في شىء ما أباحوا في الصلاة على الميت ‏.‏ يعني لم يوقت ‏.‏

It wasnarrated that Jabir said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), AbuBakrand ‘Umar did not give us so much leeway in anything as they didwith regard to the prayer for the deceased,” meaning that there wasnothing affixed.
