Sunan Ibn Majah · Hadith 1606

حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة، حدثنا عبد الأعلى، عن معمر، عن الزهري، عن سعيد بن المسيب، عن أبي هريرة، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال ‏"‏ من صلى على جنازة فله قيراط ومن انتظر حتى يفرغ منها فله قيراطان ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قالوا وما القيراطان قال ‏"‏ مثل الجبلين ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It wasnarrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Whoeveroffers the funeral prayer will have one Qirat and whoeverawaitsuntil (the burial) is finished will have two Qirat.” They said:‘What are these two Qirat?’ He said: ‘Like two mountains.’”
