Sunan Ibn Majah · Hadith 1638

حدثنا يونس بن عبد الأعلى، حدثنا ابن وهب، أنبأنا ابن جريج، عن أيوب بن هانئ، عن مسروق بن الأجدع، عن ابن مسعود، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال ‏"‏ كنت نهيتكم عن زيارة القبور فزوروا القبور فإنها تزهد في الدنيا وتذكر الآخرة ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It wasnarrated from Ibn Mas’ud that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)said, “Iused to forbid you to visit the graves, but now visit them,for theywill draw your attention away from this world and remind youof theHereafter.”
