Sunan Ibn Majah · Hadith 1822

حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة، ومحمد بن الصباح، قالا حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة، عن أبي الزناد، عن الأعرج، عن أبي هريرة، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال ‏"‏ إذا دعي أحدكم إلى طعام وهو صائم فليقل إني صائم ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It wasnarrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Ifanyoneof you is invited to eat when he is fasting, let him say: ‘I amfasting.’”
