Sunan Ibn Majah · Hadith 1854

حدثنا أبو أحمد المرار بن حمويه، حدثنا محمد بن المصفى، حدثنا بقية بن الوليد، عن ثور بن يزيد، عن خالد بن معدان، عن أبي أمامة، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال ‏"‏ من قام ليلتى العيدين لله محتسبا لم يمت قلبه يوم تموت القلوب ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It wasnarrated from Abu Umamah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Whoeverspends the nights of the two ‘Eid in praying voluntary prayers,seeking reward from Allah, his heart will not die on the Day whenhearts will die.”
