Sunan Ibn Majah · Hadith 2203

حدثنا علي بن محمد، حدثنا وكيع، عن سفيان، عن منصور، عن عبد الله بن مرة، عن عبد الله بن عمر، قال نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن النذر وقال ‏"‏ إنما يستخرج به من اللئيم ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin 'Umar said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade vows and said: 'They are just a means of taking wealth from the miserly."'
