Sunan Ibn Majah · Hadith 2681

حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة، حدثنا أبو معاوية، عن الأعمش، عن أبي صالح، عن أبي هريرة، قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ لعن الله السارق يسرق البيضة فتقطع يده ويسرق الحبل فتقطع يده ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W.) said: “May Allah curse the thief! He steals an egg and his hand is cut off, and he steals a rope and his hand is cut off”
