Sunan Ibn Majah · Hadith 2764

حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة، حدثنا أبو خالد الأحمر، عن حجاج، عن عمرو بن شعيب، عن أبيه، عن جده، عن عمر بن الخطاب، قال سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول ‏"‏ لا يقتل الوالد بالولد ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It was narrated from 'Amr bin Shu'aib, from his father, from his grandfather, that 'Umar bin Khattab said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: 'A father should not be killed for his son.'”
