Sunan Ibn Majah · Hadith 2769

حدثنا إبراهيم بن المستمر العروقي، حدثنا أبو عاصم، عن سفيان، عن جابر، عن أبي عازب، عن النعمان بن بشير، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال ‏"‏ لا قود إلا بالسيف ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It was narrated from Nu'man bin Bashir that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “There is no retaliation with the sword.”
