Sunan Ibn Majah · Hadith 2989

حدثنا أحمد بن سنان، وأبو عمر قالا حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مهدي، عن مالك بن أنس، عن نافع، عن ابن عمر، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم نهى أن يسافر بالقرآن إلى أرض العدو مخافة أن يناله العدو ‏.‏

It wasnarrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)forbadetraveling with the Qur’an to the land of the enemy, lest theenemygets hold of it.
