Sunan Ibn Majah · Hadith 335

حدثنا أبو بكر بن خلاد الباهلي، حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد القطان، عن زهير، عن أبي إسحاق، - قال ليس أبو عبيدة ذكره ولكن عبد الرحمن بن الأسود - عن الأسود، عن عبد الله بن مسعود، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أتى الخلاء فقال ‏"‏ ائتني بثلاثة أحجار ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فأتيته بحجرين وروثة فأخذ الحجرين وألقى الروثة وقال ‏"‏ هي ركس ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud: "The Messenger of Allah went to the toilet and said: 'Bring me three stones.' So I brought him two stones and a piece of dung. He took the two stones and threw the dung away, saying: 'It is impure.'"
