Sunan Ibn Majah · Hadith 3618

حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة، حدثنا إسماعيل ابن علية، عن ليث، عن مجاهد، عن عقار بن المغيرة، عن أبيه، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال ‏"‏ من اكتوى أو استرقى فقد برئ من التوكل ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It wasnarrated from ‘Aqqar bin Al-Mughirah from his father that theProphet (ﷺ) said: “Whoever seeks treatment by cauterization, orwithRuqyah, then he had absolved himself of reliance upon Allah.”
