Sunan Ibn Majah · Hadith 673

حدثنا حرملة بن يحيى، حدثنا ابن وهب، أخبرني عمرو بن الحارث، عن عبد الرحمن بن القاسم، عن أبيه، عن عائشة، زوج النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أنها قالت إن كانت إحدانا لتحيض ثم تقتنص الدم من ثوبها عند طهرها فتغسله وتنضح على سائره ثم تصلي فيه ‏.‏

It was narrated that 'Aisha the wife of the Prophet said: "One of us used to menstruate, then rub the blood off her garment when she became pure again, and wash it, and sprinkle water over the rest of the garment, then perform prayer in it."
