Sunan Ibn Majah · Hadith 675

حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة، حدثنا أبو الأحوص، عن أبي إسحاق، عن البهي، عن عائشة، قالت قال لي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ ناوليني الخمرة من المسجد ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فقلت إني حائض ‏.‏ فقال ‏"‏ ليست حيضتك في يدك ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The Messenger of Allah said to me: 'Get me a mat from the mosque.' I said: 'I am menstruating.' He said: 'Your menstruation is not in your hand.'"
