Sunan Ibn Majah · Hadith 72

حدثنا محمد بن عبد الله بن نمير، حدثنا عفان، حدثنا شعبة، عن الأعمش، ح وحدثنا هشام بن عمار، حدثنا عيسى بن يونس، حدثنا الأعمش، عن أبي وائل، عن عبد الله، قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ سباب المسلم فسوق وقتاله كفر ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It was narrated that 'Abdullah said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Verbally abusing a Muslim is immorality and fighting him is Kufr (disbelief).'"
