Chapter 87 | A Gift Will Eliminate Animosities

1-97 Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Yahya al-Attar - may God be pleased with him - narrated that his father quoted on the authority of Sahl ibn Zyad, on the authority of Muhammad ibn Sa’id, on the authority of Isma’il ibn Abi Zyad al-Sakoony that Aba Abdullah as-Sadiq (MGB) said, “Giving a gift before asking for something is good. Exchange gifts and be friends since giving gifts will eliminate animosities.”
