The Book of Occultation — al-Ṭūsī · Hadith 407 (#Ḥadīth #8)

200- وروى محمد بن يعقوب رفعه عن نسيم الخادم، وخادم أبي محمد عليه السلام قال:دخلت على صاحب الزمان عليه السلام بعد مولده بعشر ليال فعطست عنده. فقال: يرحمك الله. ففرحت بذلك، فقال: ألا أبشرك في العطاس؟ هو أمان من الموت ثلاث أيام.

H 200 - Muhammad Ibn Yaqub Kulaini has directly narrated from Nasim, maidservant of Imam Hasan Askari that she said: “When I came to him on the tenth night after his birth and sneezed in his presence, the Master of the Age said, ‘May Allah have mercy on you.’ I became very happy; he said, ‘May I not give you glad tidings about sneezing?’ I said: ‘Please do.’ He said: ‘It is protection from death for three days.”
