The Book of Occultation — al-Ṭūsī · Hadith 743 (#Ḥadīth #52)

474- عنه، عن ابن فضال، عن المثنى الحناط، عن عبد الله بن عجلان، عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام قال: من عرف هذا الامر ثم مات قبل أن يقوم القائم عليه السلام كان له مثل أجر من قتل معه.

H 474 - It is narrated from Fadhl from Ibn Faddal from Muthanna Hannat from Abdullah bin Ajlan from Imam Ja’far Sadiq that he said: “One who believes in occultation and reappearance, but dies before the advent of Imam Mahdi it is as if he has died fighting alongside the Imam.”
