The Book of Occultation · Hadith 417 (#Ḥadīth #17)

17 - حدثنا محمد بن همام قال: حدثني جعفر بن محمد بن مالك، قال: حدثني الحسن بن وهب، قال: حدثني إسماعيل بن أبان، عن يونس بن أبي يعفور، قال: سمعت أبا عبد الله يقول: إذا خرج السفياني يبعث جيشاً إلينا وجيشاً إليكم، فإذا كان كذلك فأتونا على كل صعب وذلول.

(17) Muhammad bin Hammam narrated from Ja’far bin Muhammad bin Malik from al-Hasan bin Wahab from Issma’eel bin Abban from Younus bin Abu Ya’foor that Abu Abdullah as-Sadiq had said: “When as-Sufyani rises, he will send an army to fight us (the Hashemites) and an army to fight you (the Shia). If that takes place, hurry to us by any means!”
