The Book of Occultation · Hadith 85 (#Ḥadīth #10)

10 - وعن غندر عن شعبة قال: حدثنا أبو عوانة، عن عبد الملك بن عمير، عن جابر بن سمرة قال: سمعت رسول الله يقول: لا يزال هذا الدين مستقيماً حتى يقوم اثنا عشر خليفة. ثم قال كلمة لم أفهمها، فسألت أبي فقال قال: كلهم من قريش.

(10) Ghundur narrated from Shu’ba from Abu Owana from Abdul Melik bin Omayr from Jabir bin Samra that the Prophet (S) had said: “This religion is still prevailing until twelve caliphs will have ruled.” Then he said something that I could not understand. I asked my father and he said that the Prophet (S) had said: “All of them are from Quraysh.”
