Chapter 14 | The Prophet’s Love for Imams Ĥasan and Ĥusain , His Command to Love Them, and the Reward for Loving Them
3 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْخَطَّابِ عَمَّنْ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ الْجَرِيرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ الْغِفَارِيِّ قَالَ أَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ (ص) بِحُبِّ الْحَسَنِ وَ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) فَأَنَا أُحِبُّهُمَا وَ أُحِبُّ مَنْ يُحِبُّهُمَا لِحُبِّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ (ص) إِيَّاهُمَا
3. My father narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain ibn Abil Khaťťāb, from someone who narrated to him, from Sufyān Al-Jarīri, from his father, from Abī Rāfi’, from his father, from his grandfather, from Abī Dhar Al-Ghifāri, who said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ ordered me to love Ḥasan and Ḥusain . Therefore, I love them and I love those who love them because of the Messenger of Allāh’s love for (Ḥasan and Ḥusain ).
