12. Muḥammad ibn ‘Abdillāh ibn Ja’far Al-Ḥimyari narrated to me from Abī Sa’īd Ḥasan ibn ‘Ali ibn Zakariyyā Al-‘Adwi Al-Basri, from ‘Abdil A’lā ibn Ḥammād Al-Bursi, from Wahab, from ‘Abdillāh ibn ‘Uthmān, from Sa’īd ibn Abī Rāshid, from Ya’lā Al-‘Āmiri, who said: I was going with the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ to a place where he was invited for food when we saw Ḥusain playing with (other) children. The Prophet ﷺ went ahead of us and opened his arms (to catch him). Ḥusain was running in different directions and the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ was making him laugh until he caught him. Then he placed one of his hands under Ḥusain’s chin and the other hand behind his head. He placed his mouth on the mouth of Ḥusain and kissed him. Then he said, “Ḥusain is from me and I am from Ḥusain . Allāh loves those who love Ḥusain . Ḥusain is a chief from among the chiefs.”
