Chapter 2 | The Reward for the Ziyārah of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ

9. Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan ibn Aḥmad ibn Walīd and Muḥammad ibn Ya’qūb both narrated to me from ‘Ali ibn Muḥammad ibn Bundār, from Ibrāhīm ibn Isḥāq, from Muḥammad ibn Sulaymān Al-Daylami, from Abī Juḥr Al-Aslami, from Abī ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq ), who said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: On the Day of Judgment, I will turn away from those who had come to Makkah for Hajj but did not come to Madīnah for my Ziyārah. It is obligatory that those who come to my Ziyārah are included in my intercession, and Paradise is obligatory for those who are included in my intercession. Those who die in one of the two ḤARAMs, either Makkah or Madīnah, will not be brought forth for judgment. They will be (considered) as those who have died while traveling toward Allāh, and they will be resurrected with the companions of the Battle of Badr on the Day of Judgment.
