Chapter 27 | Crying of the Angels on Ĥusain ibn ‘Ali
4 وَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الرَّزَّازُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْمَاعِيلَ السَّرَّاجِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ مَعْمَرٍ الْعَطَّارِ [الْقَطَّانِ] عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (ع) قَالَ أَرْبَعَةُ آلَافِ مَلَكٍ شُعْثٌ غُبْرٌ يَبْكُونَهُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ [السَّاعَةِ]
4. Muḥammad ibn Ja’far Al-Razzāz narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain, from Muḥammad ibn Ismā’īl, from Abī Ismā’īl Al-Sarrāj, from Yaḥyā ibn Mu’ammar Al-‘Aťťār, from Abī Basīr, who said: Abū Ja’far (Imam Bāqir ) said: There are four thousand angels who are disheveled and covered with dust, and they cry over Ḥusain (and will continue to do so) until the Day of Judgment.
