Chapter 27 | Crying of the Angels on Ĥusain ibn ‘Ali

8 حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنِ الْفُضَيْلِ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا قَالَ إِنَّ عَلَى قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) أَرْبَعَةَ آلَافِ مَلَكٍ- شُعْثٌ غُبْرٌ [شُعْثاً غُبْراً يَبْكُونَهُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ يَحْرُسُونَهُ

8. Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan Al-Saffār, from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain ibn Abil Khaťťāb, from Safwān ibn Yaḥyā, from Ḥarīz, from Fuďayl (ibn Yasār) who said: Imam Bāqir or Imam Sādiq said: There are four thousand disheveled angels who are covered with dust on the grave of Ḥusain and they cry over him (and will continue to do so) until the Day of Judgment.
