Chapter 28 | Weeping of the Heavens and the Earth over the Killing of Ĥusain and Yaĥyā ibn Zakariyyā

13. My father and ‘Ali ibn Ḥusain both narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from Mūsā ibn Faďl, from Ḥanān (ibn Sadīr), who said: I asked Abā ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq ), “What do you say about (the reward for) the Ziyārah of the grave of Abī ‘Abdillāh Al-Ḥusain ? Some people have informed us that it is equal to one Hajj and one ‘Umrah.” Imam replied: Do not be surprised by all of these rewards. Rather, go to his Ziyārah and do not abandon him, for verily he is the Master of the Martyrs and he is the Master of the Youth of Paradise. Yaḥyā ibn Zakariyyā is similar to Ḥusain and the heavens and the earth wept (only) over the two of them. The above Ḥadīth has also been narrated to me through the following chains: A) My father, and Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan ibn Walīd, both from Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan Al-Saffār, from ‘Abdil Samad ibn Muḥammad, from Ḥanān ibn Sadīr, from Abī ‘Abdillāh . B) My father, and all of my scholars, from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from Muḥammad ibn Ismā’īl ibn Bazī’, from Ḥanān ibn Sadīr, from Abī ‘Abdillāh .
