Chapter 28 | Weeping of the Heavens and the Earth over the Killing of Ĥusain and Yaĥyā ibn Zakariyyā
17 وَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي (رحمه الله) عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْبَرْقِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَظِيمِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ قَالَ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ (ع) مَا بَكَتِ السَّمَاءُ وَ الْأَرْضُ إِلَّا عَلَى يَحْيَى بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا وَ الْحُسَيْنِ ع
17. My father narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad, from Al-Barqi, from ‘Abdil ‘Aďīm Al-Ḥasani, from Ḥasan (ibn ‘Ali Al-Washā), from Abī Salamah, who said: Ja’far ibn Muḥammad (Imam Sādiq ) said: The heavens have never wept over anyone other than Yaḥyā ibn Zakariyyā and Ḥusain .
