Chapter 29 | The Lamentation of Jinn on Ĥusain ibn ‘Ali

4. Ḥukaym ibn Dāwūd ibn Ḥukaym narrated to me from Salamah ibn Khaťťāb, from ‘Amr ibn Sa’īd, from Walīd ibn Ghassān, from someone who narrated to him, who said: The Jinn used to weep over Ḥusain and recite the following poem: To whom do these houses in Ťaf belong, the houses which were built unwillingly? These are the houses of Ḥusain and they reciprocate each other’s weeping (over Ḥusain ).
