Chapter 43 | The Ziyārah of Ĥusain Is Obligatory and Every Believer Should Fulfill this Obligation Toward Ĥusain and the Rest of the Imams
1 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي وَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَتِّيلٍ وَ قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ وَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ جَمِيعاً عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَرْقِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ فَضَّالٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو أَيُّوبَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْخَزَّازُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (ع) قَالَ مُرُوا شِيعَتَنَا بِزِيَارَةِ قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) فَإِنَّ إِتْيَانَهُ مُفْتَرَضٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُؤْمِنٍ- يُقِرُّ لِلْحُسَيْنِ (ع) بِالْإِمَامَةِ مِنَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ
1. My father and Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan both narrated to me from Ḥasan ibn Mattīl, and from Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan Al-Saffār, from Aḥmad ibn Abī ‘Abdillāh Al-Barqi, from Ḥasan ibn ‘Ali ibn Faďďāl, from Abī Ayyūb Ibrāhīm ibn ‘Uthmān Al-Kazzāz, from Muḥammad ibn Muslim, who said: Abū Ja’far (Imam Bāqir ) said: Order our Shia to go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ḥusain . Verily going to his Ziyārah is obligatory on every believer who testifies that Ḥusain is an Imam appointed by Allāh, the Great and Almighty.
