3 حَدَّثَنِي حَكِيمُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ قَوْماً إِذَا زَارُوا الْحُسَيْنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ حَمَلُوا مَعَهُمُ السُّفَرَ فِيهَا الْحَلَاوَةُ وَ الْأَخْبِصَةُ وَ أَشْبَاهُهَا لَوْ زَارُوا قُبُورَ أَحِبَّائِهِمْ مَا حَمَلُوا ذَلِكَ

3. Ḥukaym ibn Dāwūd narrated to me from Salamah ibn Khaťťāb, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad (ibn ‘Isā), from ‘Ali ibn Ḥakam, from some of our companions, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq ) said: I have been informed that some people go to the Ziyārah of Ḥusain ibn ‘Ali carrying different kinds of food with them, including Akhbisah and other similar deserts. Verily if they had gone to the graves of their loved ones, they would not have taken such things with them.
