3. My father and Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan both narrated to me from Ḥusain ibn Ḥasan ibn Abān, from Ḥusain ibn Sa’īd, from Qāsim ibn Muḥammad, from Isḥāq ibn Ibrāhīm, from Hārūn ibn Khārijah, who said: I was with Abī ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq ) when a man asked him, “What is the reward for those who go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ḥusain ?” Imam replied, “Verily Allāh has dedicated four thousand angels to Ḥusain who are disheveled, covered with dust, and who cry for him (and will continue to do so) until the Day of Judgment.” I (Hārūn ibn Khārijah) asked, “May I sacrifice my father and mother for you! It is narrated from your father that (going to the Ziyārah of Ḥusain ) is equal to performing Hajj and ‘Umrah?!” Imam replied, “Yes. A Hajj and an ‘Umrah, a Hajj and an Umrah…” Hārūn added that the Imam counted ten Hajj and ten ‘Umrah.
