Chapter 66 | Going to the Ziyārah of Ĥusain Is Equal to Performing Hajj Several Times

3 حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ النَّضْرِ عَنْ شِهَابِ بْنِ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ أَوْ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ سَأَلَنِي فَقَالَ يَا شِهَابُ كَمْ حَجَجْتَ مِنْ حِجَّةٍ- فَقُلْتُ تِسْعَةَ عَشَرَ حِجَّةً فَقَالَ لِي تَمِّمْهَا عِشْرِينَ حِجَّةً تُحْسَبْ لَكَ بِزِيَارَةِ الْحُسَيْنِ ع

3. Muḥammad ibn Ja’far narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain, from Aḥmad ibn Naďr, from Shihāb ibn ‘Abd Rabbih, or from someone, from Shihāb, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq ) asked me, “O Shihāb! How many times have you performed Hajj?” I replied, “Nineteen times.” Imam said, “Complete the twentieth time so that they (these twenty Hajj) are registered as the Ziyārah of Ḥusain for you.”
