5 حَدَّثَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ حَنَانِ بْنِ سَدِيرٍ قَالَ كُنْتُ عِنْدَ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (ع) فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ وَ جَلَسَ- فَقَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ (ع) مِنْ أَيِّ الْبُلْدَانِ أَنْتَ فَقَالَ لَهُ الرَّجُلُ أَنَا رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ وَ أَنَا مُحِبٌّ لَكَ مُوَالٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ (ع) أَ فَتَزُورُ قَبْرَ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) فِي كُلِّ جُمُعَةٍ قَالَ لَا قَالَ فَفِي كُلِّ شَهْرٍ قَالَ لَا قَالَ فَفِي كُلِّ سَنَةٍ قَالَ لَا فَقَالَ لَهُ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ (ع) إِنَّكَ لَمَحْرُومٌ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ وَ ذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

5. Ḥasan ibn ‘Abdillāh ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā narrated to me from Ḥasan ibn Maḥbūb, from Ḥanān ibn Sadīr, who said: I was with Abī Ja’far (Imam Bāqir ) when a man entered, said Salām to the Imam , and sat down. “Where are you from?” Imam asked the man. “I am from Kūfah. I believe in your Wilāyah and I am one of your lovers,” the man said. “…Do you go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ḥusain once a week?” Imam asked. “No,” the man replied. “What about once a month?” Imam asked. “No,” the man replied. “What about once a year?” Imam asked. “No,” the man replied. “Verily you are deprived of the good (blessings),” Imam said.
