Chapter 96 | The Ninety-Sixth Assembly, Another Assembly of Wednesday, Twelve Nights Remain from Sha`ban, 368 AH, at `Asr Time
5 - حدثنا أبي (رضي الله عنه)، قال: حدثنا علي بن إبراهيم بن هاشم، عن أبيه إبراهيم بن هاشم، قال: حدثني إبراهيم بن رجاء الجحدري، قال: حدثنا وكيع بن الجراح، عن شريك بن عبد الله، عن عبد الله بن محمد بن عقيل، عن جابر بن عبد الله الانصاري، قال: قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): من فضل أحدا من أصحابي على علي فقد كفر (2).
My father narrated to us. He said: `Ali b. Ibrahim b. Hashim narrated to us from his father Ibrahim b. Hashim. He said: Ibrahim b. Raja’ al-Jahdari narrated to me. He said: Waki` b. al-Jarrah narrated to us from Sharik b. `Abdullah from `Abdullah b. Muhammad b. `Aqil from Jabir b. `Abdullah al-Ansari. He said: The Messenger of Allah (s) said: He who prefers one of my companions over `Ali has disbelieved.
