The Dictations · Hadith 131 (#Ḥadīth #4)

4 - حدثنا يعقوب بن يوسف بن يعقوب، قال: أخبرنا عبد الرحمن الخيطي، قال: حدثنا أحمد بن يحيى الاودي، قال: حدثنا حسن بن حسين العرني، قال: حدثنا إبراهيم بن يوسف، عن شريك، عن منصور، عن ربعي، عن حذيفة، أنه سئل عن علي (عليه السلام)، فقال: ذاك خير البشر، ولا يشك فيه إلا منافق (3).

Ya`qub b. Yusuf b. Ya`qub narrated to us. He said: `Abd al-Rahman b. al-Khaytni informed us. He said: Ahmad b. Yahya al-Awdi narrated to us. He said: Hasan b. Husayn al-`Urni narrated to us. He said: Ibrahim b. Yusuf narrated to us from Sharik from Mansur from Rub`i from Hudhayfa. He was asked about `Ali , so he said: That is the best of people; no one disputes that except a hypocrite.
