The Dictations · Hadith 192 (#Ḥadīth #3)
Chapter 26 | The Twenty-Sixth Assembly in the shrine of al-Rida , the day of Ghadir Khumm, which is Saturday, the Eighteenth of Dhul Hijja, 367 AH.
3 - حدثنا الحسين بن إبراهيم (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا علي بن إبراهيم، عن جعفر بن سلمة الاصبهاني، عن إبراهيم بن محمد، قال: حدثنا القناد (3)، قال: حدثنا علي بن هاشم بن البريد، عن أبيه، قال: سئل زيد بن علي (عليه السلام) عن قول رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): من كنت مولاه فعلي مولاه. قال: نصبه علما ليعلم به حزب الله عند الفرقة (1).
Al-Husayn b. Ibrahim narrated to us. He said: `Ali b. Ibrahim narrated to us from Ja`far b. Salama al-Isfahani from Ibrahim b. Muhammad. He said: Al-Qinad narrated to us. He said: `Ali b. Hashim b. Burayd narrated to us from his father. He said: Zayd b. `Ali was asked about the saying of the Messenger of Allah (s): “Whoever takes me as a Master, then `Ali is his Master.” He said: He set him up as a sign so that it may be known through him who the Party of Allah were during the split.
