The Dictations · Hadith 301 (#Ḥadīth #2)

2 - حدثنا أحمد بن هارون الفامي، قال حدثنا محمد بن عبد الله بن جعفر بن جامع، عن أبيه، عن إبراهيم بن هاشم، عن محمد بن أبي عمير، عن إبراهيم ابن زياد الكرخي، قال: قال الصادق جعفر بن محمد (عليهما السلام): إذا كان يوم القيامة نشر الله تبارك وتعالى رحمته حتى يطمع إبليس في رحمته (1).

Ahmad b. Harun al-Fami narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. `Abdullah b. Ja`far b. Jai` narrated to us from his father from Ibrahim b. Hashim from Muhammad b. Abi `Umayr from Ibrahim b. Ziyad al-Karkhi. He said: Al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad said: On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will spread His mercy to the point where Iblis will hope for His mercy.
