The Dictations · Hadith 319 (#Ḥadīth #3)

3 - حدثنا محمد بن الحسن بن أحمد بن الوليد (رضي الله عنه)، قال: حدثنا محمد بن الحسن الصفار، قال: حدثنا أحمد بن محمد بن عيسى، عن الحسن بن علي ابن فضال، عن علي بن عقبة، عن ميسر، قال: سمعت أبا جعفر الباقر (عليه السلام) يقول: من شيع جنازة امرئ مسلم، أعطي يوم القيامة أربع شفاعات، ولم يقل شيئا إلا قال الملك: ولك مثل ذلك (1).

Muhammad b. al-Hasan b. Ahmad b. al-Walid narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. al-Hasan al-Saffar narrated to us. He said: Ahmad b. Muhammad b. `Isa narrated to us from al-Hasan b. `Ali b. Faddal from `Ali b. `Uqba from Muyassir. He said: I heard Aba Ja`far al-Baqir say: Whoever attends the funeral of a Muslim, on the Day of Resurrection, he will be given four intercessions. He will not say a thing except that the angel will say: “And for you is something like that.”
