Chapter 42 | The Forty-Second Assembly, the Assembly of Tuesday, the Eighteenth of Safar, 368 AH.
14 - حدثنا محمد بن أحمد السناني، قال: حدثنا محمد بن أبي عبد الله الكوفي، قال: حدثنا محمد بن أبي بشر، قال: حدثنا الحسين بن الهيثم، قال: حدثنا سليمان بن داود المنقري، عن حفص بن غياث، أنه كان إذا حدثنا عن جعفر بن محمد (عليه السلام)، قال: حدثني خير الجعافر جعفر بن محمد (عليه السلام) (3).
Muhammad b. Ahmad al-Sinani narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. Abi `Abdullah al-Kufinarrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. Abi Bishr narrated to us. He said: Al-Husayn b. Haytham narrated to us. He said: Sulayman b. Dawud al-Minqari narrated to us from Hafs b. Ghiyath. Whenever he would narrate to us from Ja`far b. Muhammad , he would say: The best of Ja`fars (khayr al-ja`afir) Ja`far b. Muhammad narrated to me.
