Chapter 49 | The Forty-Ninth Assembly, the Assembly of Friday, the Twelfth of the Month of Rabi` al-Awwal, 368 AH.
6 - حدثنا أحمد بن هارون الفامي (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا محمد بن عبد الله ابن جعفر الحميري، عن أبيه، قال: حدثنا محمد بن عبد الجبار، قال: حدثنا محمد بن أبي عمير، عن هشام بن سالم، عن الصادق جعفر بن محمد (عليه السلام)، قال: كاد الفقر أن يكون كفرا، وكاد الحسد أن يغلب القدر (1).
Ahmad b. Harun al-Fami narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. `Abdullah b. Ja`far al-Himyari narrated to us from his father. He said: Muhammad b. `Abd al-Jabbar narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. Abi `Umayr narrated to us from Hisham b. Salim from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad . He said: Poverty can incline into disbelief, and envy can incline into the changing of destiny.
