Chapter 58 | The Fifty-Eighth Assembly, the Assembly of Tuesday, Halfway through the Month of Rabi` al-Akhir, 368 AH.
3 - حدثنا محمد بن إبراهيم بن إسحاق (رضي الله عنه)، قال: حدثنا أبو سعيد الحسن بن علي العدوي، قال: حدثنا صهيب بن عباد بن صهيب، قال: حدثنا أبي، قال: حدثنا الصادق جعفر بن محمد، عن آبائه، عن الحسين بن علي (علهيم السلام): أن رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) قضى باليمين مع الشاهد الواحد، وأن عليا (عليه السلام) قضى به بالعراق (1).
Muhammad b. Ibrahim b. Ishaq narrated to us. He said: Abu Sa`id al-Hasan b. `Ali al-`Adawi narrated to us. He said: Suhayb b. `Abbad b. Suhayb narrated to us. He said: My father narrated to us. He said: Al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad narrated to us from his forefathers from al-Husayn b. `Ali . The Messenger of Allah (s) made adjudications with an oath and one witness, and `Ali made adjudications like it in Iraq.
