The Dictations · Hadith 733 (#Ḥadīth #7)
Chapter 71 | The Seventy-First Assembly, the Assembly of Friday, the Last of Jumada al-Ula, 368 AH.
Also, `Ali said: The bed of the Messenger of Allah (s) was a cloak. His furnishing was mud. His padding was fibre. I folded [his bed] for him one night [to double its thickness], and when he awoke in the morning, he said: “The bed had prevented me from the night prayer.” So, he (s) ordered that he [only] be given a single layer.
