The Dictations · Hadith 821 (#Ḥadīth #5)

5 - حدثنا محمد بن علي ماجيلويه (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا محمد بن يحيى العطار، عن الحسين بن إسحاق التاجر، عن علي بن مهزيار، عن الحسين بن سعيد، عن الحسين بن علوان، عن عمرو بن خالد، عن زيد بن علي، عن آبائه (عليهم السلام)، قال: قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): إن أقربكم مني غدا، وأوجبكم علي شفاعة، أصدقكم لسانا، وآداكم للامانة، وأحسنكم خلقا، وأقربكم من الناس (2).

Muhammad b. `Ali Majiluwayh narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. Yahya al-`Attar narrated to us from al-Husayn b. Ishaq al-Tajir from `Ali b. Mahziyar from al-Husayn b. Sa`id from al-Husayn b. `Ilwan from `Amr b. Khalid from Zayd b. `Ali from his forefathers . He said: The Messenger of Allah (s) said: Surely, the closest of you to me anon and the most rightful to my intercession are those of you with the most truthful tongue, who return trusts the most, and who are the closest to the people.
